A modern, scientific approach to performance
The High Performance Lab brings clinical-grade testing to athletes and active people who want to train with purpose rather than guesswork. The clinic runs the same technology used in elite sport, led by a physiologist who has worked at the top of the game, so the numbers you get are accurate and the plan you leave with is built around your body, not a generic template.
Testing tells you what's actually happening under the hood. VO₂ max shows your cardiovascular ceiling. Blood lactate pinpoints the zones where you burn fat, build endurance and avoid overtraining. Metabolic testing shows how many calories your body really burns, so you can fuel it properly. Together they turn training from a guess into a measured, repeatable process, and re-testing every 8 to 12 weeks shows you exactly what's working.
You don't have to be an elite athlete to benefit. We test GB Triathlon Olympians and national-team boxers, but just as many of our clients are recreational runners, cyclists and triathletes who simply want to train smarter and understand their own physiology.
